The Gothia Cup is one of the most prestigious football tournaments in the world! Players selected for the Prep Schools Squad will be offered the opportunity to play in this incredible event.
Gothia Cup 2025 is from 14th July to 20th July. It is our intention for teams to depart on 11th, 12th or 13th July depending on flight availability and return the following weekend. Matches start on Monday 14th July and the Finals are played on the 18th and 19th July.
Over 80 nations will take part in the tournament, bringing together some of the most talented youth footballers in the world. The Opening Ceremony will take place in the world famous Ullevi stadium, with over 52,000 people in the crowd.
The tournament finals will be watched by 30,000 spectators and broadcast all over the world.

During their trip the players will receive top quality coaching and attend workshops run by the coaching staff and physiotherapists on issues such as nutrition and hydration, sports psychology and injury prevention. Off the pitch the players will meet and make friends with players from different cultures and backgrounds. Outside and match and training times, the players will enjoy leisure activities in Gothenburg. The tournament will be great fun and a fantastic environment for the players to develop both as footballers and as young men.
